Introduction
 
The Integrative Medical Centre (IMC) is established under the Hong Kong Institute of Integrative Medicine, the Chinese University of Hong Kong. It is the Hong Kong’s first out-patient clinic operated by a team of Chinese and western clinical professors, which offers a wide range of integrative medical services.
Suited on the 4th Floor of Day Treatment Block at the Prince Wales Hospital, Shatin, our Centre covers an area of more than 5,000 square feet, with a spacious and comfortable setting. There are well-furnished consultation and treatment rooms where visitors can enjoy a quality medical services at a high level of privacy.
To facilitate a timely and personalised care, our Centre adopted a specially-designed electronic medical records system (IMIS) which allows our clinicians to view patients’ records concurrently to produce a safe and effective treatment plans. Each prescription is also harnessed to our system which makes each formula traceable.
 
Services
 
Our Centre provides a wide range of Chinese medicine services, including general consultation, acupuncture and bone-setting services by CMPs; and western medicine services, such as general consultations by family medicine specialist and clinical psychologist.

Our team of experts are also exploring new integrative medicine services in areas of stroke rehabilitation, multiple sclerosis, lower back pain, with an aim to design treatment plans with a better clinical outcome.
Care Team
 
Experienced, dedicated and highly professional, our medical team is comprised of professors in western and Chinese medicines, medical specialists, CMPs, clinical psychologists and specialist nurses.

In addition to providing integrative outpatient services, our medical team has also dedicated themselves to research projects on integrative medicine, training new medical professionals and public health education.
