With the generous donation from a philanthropist, the Chinese Medicine Specialty Clinic (Tsim Sha Tsui) of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) School of Chinese Medicine has launched the “CUHK Chinese Medicine • Caring for the Community” Subsidized Chinese Medicine Service Scheme.
The scheme aims to subsidize underprivileged individuals facing financial difficulties, helping them improve their health and quality of life through Chinese medicine treatments, while also reducing their medical burden.
Scheme Details:
A) Chinese Medicine General Consultation with 3 doses of Chinese Herbal Medicine - HKD200 / per visit
B) Receive a HKD300 subsidy on the total consultation and medication charge (limited to general consultation and Chinese medicines charge only)
- Each eligible participant may receive up to 5 subsidized treatments
Eligible Beneficiaries:
- 1. Recipients of Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA)
- 2. Recipients of Disability Allowance
- 3. Recipients of Old Age Living Allowance
