The Hong Kong Institute of Integrative Medicine is comprised of a team of forward-thinking clinicians and researchers who are dedicated to advancing our healthcare services by conducting innovative research in Integrative Medicine, and have the research results applied to clinical practice, thereby building a safer and more effective health care model.
Our Institute is led by our Director, Professor Zhi-xiu Lin, who oversees the operation of the Institute, while our Section Conveners assist the Director in the areas of research, education and clinical services from their respective clinical and research expertise. The Central Clinical Research Team is responsible for the R&D networking with other institutions and units. An executive team under the governance of our Director is responsible for the administrative work, including the daily operation, budgetary arrangement, liaison with industry partners for drug development and health promotion.
