Hong Kong Institute of Integrative Medicine of the CUHK (HKIIM) took part in the "20th Diabetes and Cardiovascular Risk Factors - East meets West Symposium", which was sponsored by the Hong Kong Institute of Diabetes and Obesity. It was held at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre, where HKIIM showcased the history, CUHK research projects and the latest development of Auriculotherapy as integrative medical treatment to treat patients with diabetes mellitus. Over 100 guests from general public and healthcare professionals were attracted.
